Embeds

Add embeds to your docs for engaging, informative content.

Overview

Outverse documents support a variety of embeds which can be added via the / formatting menu when editing a doc. Support embeds are:

  • Images (.png, .jpeg)

  • Videos (.mp4, .mov)

  • Figma files

  • YouTube videos

  • Vimeo videos

  • Loom videos

  • GIFs

Size & alignement

Once added, embed blocks can be set to small, medium, or large and can be any of left, centre, or right-aligned.

Image embeds

Image embeds can be added by launching the / formatting menu and then selecting the 'Image' embed type. Alternatively, images can be added to a doc by simply dragging and dropping the image file into the doc or copy and pasting an external image into the doc.

Video embeds

Like images, video embeds can be added by launching the / formatting menu and then selecting the 'Video' embed type. Alternatively, images can be added to a doc by simply dragging and dropping the image file into the doc or copy and pasting an external image into the doc.

YouTube

YouTube embeds can be added by launching the / formatting menu and then selecting the 'YouTube' embed type. Alternatively, YouTube videos can be added by simply pasting a YouTube URL directly into a document.

Loom videos

Loom embeds can be added by launching the / formatting menu and then selecting the 'Loom' embed type. Alternatively, YouTube videos can be added by simply pasting a Loom URL directly into a document.

Figma files

Figma files can be directly embedded into Outverse docs by pasting the file URL into an Outverse doc.

Make sure your Figma file the correct view / access permissions on it to enable the right users to view / access the file
